Dr. Heather Sandison ND

Dr. Heather Sandison is the founder of Solcere and the founder of Marama. Dr. Sandison specializes in neurocognitive medicine and neurohacking. She has been trained to specifically address imbalances that affect the brain including Autism, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety and Alzheimer’s. She has trained with Dr. Dale Bredesen MD, Dr. Neil Nathan, MD, Dr. Bill Walsh, PhD and Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker, MD in addition to regularly attending and speaking at integrative medicine conferences throughout the year. Her healing philosophy centers around treating the cause of imbalances in the body including: Toxins Nutrients Stress Structure Infections She believes in the power of the body to heal itself. Dr. Sandison’s passion is to guide and support patients as they co-create strong foundations for optimal health through sustainable lifestyle changes and the best medical interventions to support balance in the body. Dr. Sandison is dedicated to learning all there is to know about brain health and considers her amazing patients at Solcere and residents at Marama some of her very best teachers. Dr. Sandison has been awarded a research grant to study the effects of individualized interventions on patients struggling with cognitive decline at Solcere. She earned her Naturopathic Doctorate at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. Dr. Rachel Heussner, ND

Dr. Rachel Heussner is a dedicated Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and a compassionate advocate for vibrant well-being. Dr. Heussner’s passion lies in nurturing the intricate dance of mind, body, and spirit, with a special focus on brain health, women’s wellness, hormones, environmental toxins, cardiometabolic health, longevity, mental health, and gastrointestinal conditions. Dr. Heussner received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was a certified Emergency Medicine Technician before completing her naturopathic medical degree at Bastyr University. Dr. Heussner’s journey into naturopathic medicine was ignited by her own health struggles. Through the transformative power of holistic and natural modalities, she embarked on a path of healing that ultimately led her to embrace naturopathic medicine as her calling. Central to Dr. Heussner’s practice is the philosophy of empowering patients with knowledge about their bodies and guiding them on a journey of internal healing. With additional training in IV therapy, hormone replacement therapy, PRP microneedling, ozone therapy, and craniosacral therapy, she offers a comprehensive approach to wellness. In her practice, Dr. Heussner attends to a wide array of conditions including preconception care, anti-aging, PCOS, PMS, irregular menstruation, perimenopause, menopause, thyroid disorders, infertility, skin conditions, natural aesthetics, anxiety, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, mold toxicity, and environmental pollutants.

Tyler Walsh, INHC

Tyler Walsh is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and the Treatment Coordinator at Solcere. She received her certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Tyler dealt with personal health challenges, which led to her passion in naturopathic medicine. She decided to take charge in optimizing her health and implemented beneficial new lifestyle changes. Within a few months of working as Solcere’s Treatment Coordinator, she decided to take her knowledge further by becoming a certified Integrative Health Coach. With her passion in treating the body as a whole, she dives deep into the four dimensions of healing with her clients — mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Tyler firmly believes in transforming and developing lifestyle changes tailored to each individual that will last a lifetime. “Depending on the complexity of each individual’s case, I feel that health coaches bridge the gap between the doctor and patient. The higher the complexity, the more health coaches are essential to a person’s healing journey” —Tyler When Tyler is not working, she spends her time catching up on reading, being with friends, paddle boarding, traveling, and taking her cat Pinot on walks.

Alyssa Hoff, FNP-BC

Alyssa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that brings a patient-centered, holistic approach to care that blends clinical expertise with a deep understanding of whole-person wellness.

She began her career in healthcare as a personal trainer specializing in working with individuals with Parkinson’s disease, where she developed a strong foundation in movement, function, and individualized care. She later transitioned into nursing, gaining valuable experience in oncology, where she cultivated compassion, resilience, and a commitment to supporting patients through complex health challenges.

Her clinical background also includes functional medicine as an IV nurse, where she deepened her knowledge of integrative and preventive approaches to health. In primary care, she has worked with a diverse and inclusive patient population, emphasizing accessibility, education, and long-term wellness.

Her clinical approach is grounded in building meaningful patient relationships and developing personalized treatment plans that support long-term wellness, vitality, and overall quality of life.

Outside of work, she enjoys surfing, playing pickleball, and staying active, drawing inspiration from her roots in Hawaii.

Angela Hoefke is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner known for her refined, root-cause approach to complex health concerns. With over a decade of experience spanning gastroenterology, internal medicine, and rehabilitative medicine, she brings both depth and precision to patient care.

Her clinical perspective is grounded in the understanding that optimal health requires more than symptom management. Angela specializes in identifying underlying imbalances, with a particular focus on digestive health, metabolic function, and chronic conditions that often go unresolved in traditional settings.

She is recognized for her ability to synthesize complex clinical data into clear, personalized strategies. Her approach is highly individualized, integrating advanced diagnostics, lifestyle medicine, and functional principles to create thoughtful, results-driven care plans.

Angela’s patients value the level of attention and intention she brings to each interaction. She prioritizes a calm, collaborative experience where patients feel deeply understood and supported, while also being guided with clarity and expertise toward measurable improvements in their health.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has completed advanced training in functional medicine and continues to expand her expertise in integrative, precision-based care.
