Dr. Amy Tarquini ND, CNS
Dr. Amy Tarquini found her passion for helping others achieve optimal wellness after years of struggling through her own chronic disease. When she was only 14, she was diagnosed with autoimmune disease that would be treated (unsuccessfully) for several years and multiple rounds of heavy pharmaceutical agents. It was only after discovering the role of food as medicine that she began to discover the true healing powers of nature. Dr. Tarquini strives to empower all individuals to recognize this same innate healing capacity of the body using effective, personalized interventions. Dr. Tarquini believes that true health is not just the absence of disease, but rather the attainment of balance. To her, optimal wellness takes the shape of resilience to life’s circumstances, laughter, curiosity, and kindness.
Dr. Tarquini completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, and a minor in the Spanish language. She went on to complete a four-year CNME accredited Naturopathic program at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Tarquini holds an active Naturopathic medical license in California and is also a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American Nutrition Association. She has extensive training in biochemistry, anatomy, and physiology, as well as botanical and nutritional medicine, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and pharmacology. She has additional qualifications in homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, pelvic floor therapy, and HeartMath biofeedback. Dr. Tarquini is a certified yoga instructor (RYT-500) and thus has a strong emphasis on movement and breath as medicine, as well as a strong passion for brain health and how it relates to Mindbody medicine. She is ReCODE certified to help support individuals dealing with cognitive decline.
In her spare time, Dr. Tarquini can be found exploring with her fiancé, practicing yoga, playing frisbee with her pup Sampson, or reading. She is excited to join you on your healing journey Solcere! [read more]

Mira Aguilar RN
Mira Aguilar RN, California board-certified registered nurse, is the IV Nurse and Lab Manager at Solcere. She was born in New York but has been a globetrotter all her life since birth. She received her BSN in the Philippines and finished her US training at Loma Linda University. She has been practicing for 5 years working primarily in outpatient surgery. Her fascination with the science of nature’s healing properties, and passion for natural processes and treating the patient as a whole is what led her to leave conventional medicine to challenge her role as a nurse in the naturopathic field. She believes that finding and addressing the root cause rather than treating the symptom is what will drive her patients to reach optimal health and essentially become a catalyst for positive change.
“For an individual to discover their full potential, they need to reach optimal health. And in order for them to reach optimal health, they need to have three things; an empowered mind, a balanced body, and a connected soul.” -Mira
As an active member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, the Infusion Nurses Society, and the Association for Vascular Access, our modern day Florence Nightingale is on her way to entering a new role to challenge herself further and follow her dreams of becoming a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on holistic medicine. She is now studying for her master’s degree while continuing to grow at Solcere.
When she is not in the clinic, you may find her on the hiking trails all over southern California, riding the waves at Carlsbad, or on the next flight across the globe.
Tyler Walsh, INHC
Tyler Walsh is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and the Treatment Coordinator at Solcere. She received her certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
Tyler dealt with personal health challenges, which led to her passion in naturopathic medicine. She decided to take charge in optimizing her health and implemented beneficial new lifestyle changes.
Within a few months of working as Solcere’s Treatment Coordinator, she decided to take her knowledge further by becoming a certified Integrative Health Coach. With her passion in treating the body as a whole, she dives deep into the four dimensions of healing with her clients — mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Tyler firmly believes in transforming and developing lifestyle changes tailored to each individual that will last a lifetime.
“Depending on the complexity of each individual’s case, I feel that health coaches bridge the gap between the doctor and patient. The higher the complexity, the more health coaches are essential to a person’s healing journey” —Tyler
When Tyler is not working, she spends her time catching up on reading, being with friends, paddle boarding, traveling, and taking her cat Pinot on walks.
