PRP Microneedling for Skin and Hair

PRP Microneedling Facial

Your skin, only better.

Treat yourself to the latest regenerative facial and transform your skin from dull and tired, to vibrant, youthful and glowing. The PRP facial is an incredible anti-aging treatment, as well as extremely beneficial for acne breakouts and scars.

This innovative cosmetic procedure combines Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) with microneedling to enhance skin rejuvenation. Microneedling involves the use of tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. The addition of PRP, derived from the patient’s own blood, accelerates healing and enhances the overall effectiveness of the treatment. This synergistic approach helps address various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and overall skin texture, resulting in a more youthful and radiant complexion. It produces a “glowing effect” that can last for months and is ideal for brides leading up to a wedding or in the fall to correct summer sun damage.

What to Expect

Immediately after your procedure, your face will contain a slight amount of blood and may appear “sunburned” for 24-72 hours. After 2-3 days, the outer layer of your skin will start to peel. Similar to a chemical peel, this procedure allows for the removal of old dead cells and reveals fresh glowing new skin beneath. The best results, however, are yet to come! The effects of this procedure take place over the next 2-3 months as your body lays down new tissue.

You can expect to see a brighter more even complexion, smaller pores, reduced hyperpigmentation and dark spots, and minimized fine lines. For those coming in for the treatment of acne, you should see a reduced lesion number and severity, as well as diminished scarring.

Recommended Number of Treatments

The number of recommended treatments will vary for each individual, based on current skin condition, desired results, and healing response. For most patients who are using it as a preventative anti-aging measure, we recommend 1 treatment every 6-8 months. For those utilizing the facial for acne treatment, we recommend a minimum of 3 facials separated by 4-6 weeks with a follow up as needed.

Microneedling without PRP

Microneedling, a non-surgical cosmetic procedure, involves the use of fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response and promoting collagen production. This treatment helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, and enhances overall skin firmness and elasticity. Unlike the PRP-enhanced version, this microneedling service focuses solely on the mechanical stimulation of the skin without the addition of Platelet-Rich Plasma.

PRP Hair Restoration

PRP for Hair Loss

PRP hair restoration is a non-surgical solution for individuals experiencing hair loss or thinning. This procedure utilizes Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s own blood, which is then injected into the scalp. PRP contains growth factors that stimulate hair follicles, promote hair growth, and improve the overall health of the scalp. This innovative approach has gained popularity for its natural and effective means of addressing hair loss concerns.

How it works

Much like the PRP Facial, PRP used for hair regrowth involves the use of the PRP portion of the blood as the healing medium and needle and/or microneedling device as the delivery method. Growth factors from the platelets act on stem cells within the scalp to stimulate the development of new follicles, promote formation of new blood vessels to enhance local blood flow, and prolong the anagen (growth) phase of the hair follicle.

What to Expect

Response to treatment is variable in each individual; however, results typically begin to be apparent by six months. You may begin to notice a reduction in hair loss and growth of new hairs as early as one month.

Recommended number of treatments

We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments separated by 4-6 weeks with an annual follow up as needed.
