Appointments and Scheduling
It’s best to call our office and ask to speak with the New Patient Coordinator. Please call (760) 385-8683 during office hours.
We ask that you kindly respect the doctor’s time and give us as much advance notice as possible. We do everything we can to be as flexible as possible as we know things come up. We typically have a waiting list of patients that would like to be seen on any given day and potentially at the time we have reserved for you. For this reason, we do have a 48 business-hour cancellation policy. If you need to make changes to your appointment, we request two days notice. Our cancelation policy is to charge the full visit amount for a missed appointment or appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
The initial visit is usually 75 minutes. A typical first follow-up appointment is 60-75 minutes depending on complexity of the case. However, if we do not use the entire time scheduled, you will only be charged for the time used. The current fee schedule is here.
Vitamin Injections:
If you are an established patient you may stop by for an injection. We do always recommend scheduling an appointment, as we like to ensure we have time to accommodate your needs. If you are not an established patient, we do need a small amount of paperwork and a 10-minute consultation with the doctor.
IV Therapy:
We do recommend scheduling an appointment for an IV, as we are not able to accommodate walk-ins. If you are an established patient, please call the office to schedule. If you are a new patient and interested in IV therapy, we do require recent blood work (within the last 6 months) and a physical exam before a doctor is able to order or administer the IV. For any further questions, please call our office at (760) 385-8683.
Communicating with Us
Your privacy is important to us. Keeping things easy is also important. So we conducted an extensive search for ways to secure the emails we exchange with each other. We have recently started using Virtru. Virtru is a friendly email encryption service designed to protect your privacy by keeping emails containing anything sensitive fully encrypted and secure.
Watch the Virtru walkthrough video
Virtru works with your existing email service, and does not require any new software or new accounts on your devices. It encrypts our emails and attachments to prevent unauthorized access to your Protected Health Information (PHI) sent via email.
If we must send you sensitive information by email, we will use Virtru, and you’ll get a notification from Virtru by regular email. It just takes a click and a one-time verification step to be able to read and respond securely with us.
This link explains how to reply to an encrypted email from us. There is a short video on this page that explains everything:

If you plan to send us any sensitive information, please let us know first, and we will send you an email via Virtru to your regular inbox. When you respond to that email, everything you send to us via Virtru will be secure.
We understand changes like this can be confusing. We are here to help you navigate this process. Please review the following links. They answer the majority of questions. If you have any questions not answered here, please let us know how we can help!

Money Matters
Although we do not accept insurance for our services, we are happy to provide you with an invoice which includes diagnosis codes and procedure codes. You may submit this to your insurance company directly for possible reimbursement. We also do our best to get your labs covered by insurance, as we are able. Unfortunately, we are unable to bill federal insurance such as Tricare, Medicare and Medicaid at this time.
Routine Tasks
Please call your pharmacy and simply request a refill. They will fax the request to our office. We understand the urgency in some cases, however we do recommend you refill your prescription at least 2 full weeks before your last dose. Most refill requests are handled within 24-48 business hours.
The doctors prefer to review your labs in person; however once the doctor reviews your results, they will be visible in your portal. Simply log into www.power2patient.net and view under the ‘documents’ tab to download.
Yes, we can draw blood on site. We work with a variety of labs and do our best to offer the most comprehensive and affordable labs available.
